Tradewind Cycling Team

OUR MISSION

The mission of the Tradewind Cycling Team is to promote competitive bicycle racing in the State of Hawaii. We acknowledge that sportsmanship, teamwork, commitment, dedication and support for one another are the hallmarks of a successful cycling team.

Our core values represent the strength, character, and foundation of who we are: a team committed to presenting competitive cycling in a positive light while building solid and long-lasting relationships.

WHO WE ARE

Tradewind Cycling Team (TCT) was founded in 1989 with 7 members. Current membership is around 75. Tradewind Cycling Team is a USCF licensed bicycle racing team. To promote the sport of bicycle racing in Hawaii, TCT sponsors several races during the year on Oahu and Kauai.

Racing

TCT participates in, sponsors and supports a full calendar of racing events every year.

Training Rides

We host challenging and fun training rides for riders of all levels every week in differing locations.

Volunteering

TCT actively supports cycling related events such as the Honolulu Marathon wheelchair division and the Honolulu Century.

Club Activities

In addition to time in the saddle, we have other activities like visits to the neighboring Islands and quarterly social get-togethers.

Membership

Membership is open to all bicyclists and supporters who are interested in cycling and volunteering at team sponsored events.
